CALL FOR ASSISTANT EDITORS FOR SINGAPORE ARBITRATION JOURNAL

The Singapore Arbitration Journal is a joint initiative by SIArb and the Singapore Academy of Law, as co-publishers, and aims to provide a forum to examine and discuss developments of particular relevance and interest to the Singapore arbitration community.

Since its launch in December 2019, the Singapore Arbitration Journal has been very well received by arbitration practitioners, and is seen as a leading publication contributing to thought leadership on arbitration matters in Singapore.

The success of this SIArb publication is founded on the support provided by a team of Assistant Editors. As the term for the current team of Assistant Editors is coming to an end, Council is keen for members to have an opportunity to contribute to this special project.

We therefore invite expressions of interest from suitably qualified members for the position of Assistant Editors for the arbitration journal.

Assistant Editors will have good legal research, analytical and writing skills, with a strong command of the English language. They must be able to devote the time needed to deal with review, editing and writing responsibilities for a journal published twice yearly.

The appointment as Assistant Editor will be for a 2-year term, and responsibilities will include:

  1. Preparing case disgests of reported cases on arbitration;
  2. Identifying suitable issues/topics relevant to arbitration for purposes of articles;
  3. Editing/review of submitted articles.

If you wish to be considered, please email the SIArb Secretariat (at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) by 1 March 2024 with a copy of your latest CV, and a minimum of 2 samples of your research, analytical and writing skills, (redacted as may be appropriate). We look forward to hearing from you.
